Prison Princess

04 About Prison Princess

Prison Princess is an adventure game developed and published by qureate for Nintendo Switch. Its story follows Princess Luna and Princess Stella, royals from neighboring kingdoms whose lives become connected after Luna is wrongly confined in a heavily guarded tower.

When Stella takes Luna’s place in an effort to help her escape, the two must work from opposite sides of the situation. Their efforts lead toward clues surrounding Luna’s imprisonment and a conspiracy involving a royal advisor seeking power.

Two Princesses, One Conspiracy

The narrative combines mistaken identity, friendship, and political intrigue. Stella works within the prison while posing as Luna, gathering evidence and seeking support, while Luna operates outside its walls to clear her name. Their separate paths uncover the larger threat facing their kingdoms.

Puzzle and Stealth Challenges

Gameplay uses a dual-character structure, with each princess facing distinct objectives and abilities. Players tackle environmental puzzles, search for clues and items, interact with characters, and use stealth to navigate guarded areas. Dialogue choices can affect the direction of the story and relationships.

Languages and Release

Prison Princess was released on January 30, 2020. It includes English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian language options.
