The Spirit and the Mouse is an adventure platformer set in the French village of Sainte-et-Claire. Players follow Lila, a small mouse whose encounter with the celestial spirit Lumion begins an unexpected partnership.

After Lumion crash-lands and loses his energy, sparks become scattered across the village. Lila sets out to recover them, helping restore Lumion’s strength as well as the light and happiness of Sainte-et-Claire.

A mouse-sized adventure

Lila explores the village from a tiny perspective, turning ordinary surroundings into large-scale spaces filled with routes to investigate. Her size lets her slip through narrow gaps, travel through vents, climb curtains, and reach places that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Electricity and environmental puzzles

Lumion’s power is central to the journey. Lila can use his electrical energy to activate machinery, manipulate objects, and create temporary paths. Progress combines careful platforming with environmental puzzles that require observation and experimentation.

Discovering Sainte-et-Claire

Beyond collecting lost sparks, Lila can meet villagers and assist with their problems while uncovering hidden paths, secrets, and details connected to the village and spirit world. The game supports a patient approach, rewarding players who explore each corner and revisit areas with a fresh perspective.
