Adore

04 About Adore

Adore is an action, adventure, and role-playing game for Nintendo Switch from QUByte Interactive. Set in the mystical land of Gaterdrik, it follows a young Adorer, someone able to form bonds with magical creatures known as Adorables.

A rising force called the Shadowblight threatens living creatures and the land itself. As the journey unfolds, encounters with allies and opponents reveal more about Gaterdrik, its prophecies, betrayals, and the origins of the Adorables.

Creature Bonds and Combat

Combat combines real-time action with party management. Adorables have individual abilities, elemental affinities, and special skills, making team selection, positioning, timing, and adaptation important during encounters. Building bonds with creatures and improving their capabilities affects the party’s effectiveness against stronger enemies.

Exploration Across Gaterdrik

Players travel through varied regions of Gaterdrik, including ancient ruins, dungeons, and hidden areas. Exploration can lead to treasures, resources, equipment, and additional Adorables. Boss battles mark major challenges as the story advances through the world’s different biomes.

Customization and Strategy

Adorables can be adjusted with runes and enhancements to support different approaches in battle. Crafting items and equipment provides further ways to prepare for challenges, while elemental advantages and creature combinations encourage experimentation. Arena battles offer another setting for testing a team’s strengths.

Release Information

Adore was released in the USA on August 3, 2023. It is available in English and Portuguese, with QUByte Interactive serving as both developer and publisher.
