Grisaia Phantom Trigger 5.5 to 08

04 About Grisaia Phantom Trigger 5.5 to 08

Grisaia Phantom Trigger 5.5 to 08 is an adventure compilation for Nintendo Switch from Prototype, released on June 29, 2023. It brings together volumes 5.5, 6, 7, and 8 of the Mihama Academy storyline.

The collection follows the academy's specialist students as they face hazardous assignments, difficult memories, and escalating threats. Available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, it continues the series' focus on character-driven drama and high-stakes operations.

Four connected chapters

Volume 5.5 acts as a prequel that explores the tragic history of a key character and adds context to later events. Volume 6 shifts toward operative missions and the personal burdens carried by the team, while volumes 7 and 8 raise the pressure with formidable opponents, revelations about their organization, and developments that lead into the future of the series.

Visual novel storytelling

The game presents its narrative through character artwork, detailed backgrounds, and voiced performances. Players follow the students' relationships and missions as the story examines the consequences of their training, the sacrifices they have made, and the motivations behind their actions.

Choices and tactical moments

Alongside the narrative, the compilation includes branching choices that can affect the direction of the story and lead to different endings. Tactical combat sequences introduce turn-based planning, with character abilities, team formations, equipment preparation, and positioning playing a role during missions.
