Persona 5 Tactica: Digital Deluxe Edition is a strategy-focused role-playing game from SEGA, released for Nintendo Switch on November 17, 2023. It follows the Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they are pulled from an ordinary day into an unfamiliar kingdom ruled by oppressive forces.

In this alternate reality, Joker and his allies join Erina, a revolutionary leader, and politician Toshiro Kasukabe. Together, they confront the Legionnaires, seek the truth behind the strange dimension, and face choices connected to the group’s past and future.

Tactical Phantom Thief Battles

Combat shifts the Persona formula into turn-based tactical encounters. Players select a team of three Phantom Thieves and move them across battlefields where placement is central to each turn. Cover can shield characters from attacks, while exposed opponents become more vulnerable to coordinated strikes.

Persona Skills and Triple Threat

Each Phantom Thief contributes distinct skills and Persona abilities, encouraging teams built around complementary strengths. Elemental weaknesses can be exploited during encounters, and characters can grow alongside their Personas. By surrounding enemies, the team can trigger the Triple Threat mechanic, delivering a powerful area attack.

A New Revolutionary Setting

The campaign explores a kingdom whose citizens live under tyrannical rule. Its maps provide environmental opportunities and tactical obstacles as the Phantom Thieves adapt their abilities to a different kind of conflict. The game supports TV, Tabletop, and Handheld play modes, with a Teen 12+ age rating and language options including English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
