Agatha Knife is an adventure and puzzle game from Mango Protocol, released for Nintendo Switch in 2018. It follows Agatha, a seven-year-old girl with a love of meat whose mother operates a struggling butcher shop.

To help the business survive, Agatha creates Carnivorism, a new religion built around sacrifice. Her plan becomes complicated when the animals involved are also creatures she has come to know and care about, placing friendship, belief, and survival in uneasy conflict.

A darkly whimsical tale

The story combines childish reasoning with darker philosophical questions about life, death, identity, and belonging. As Agatha spreads Carnivorism through an eccentric town, she meets unusual residents and confronts the consequences of her ideas through satire, humor, and moral dilemmas.

Point-and-click investigation

Gameplay centers on exploring hand-drawn locations, examining objects, collecting items, and speaking with characters. Dialogues reveal details about the town and its inhabitants, while puzzles ask players to observe their surroundings and approach problems creatively.

Butcher shop and ritual activities

Alongside exploration and puzzle solving, Agatha takes part in activities connected to the butcher shop and Carnivorism rituals. These minigame-style segments add variety to her journey as she works to develop the religion and support her mother’s business.
