God of Light: Remastered is a puzzle-focused adventure in which players aid Shiny, a small creature on a mission to restore celestial light sources. Ancient darkness has spread across the world, and each completed challenge helps bring radiance and balance back to its realms.

The journey moves through settings including forests, icy caverns, temples, and volcanic areas. Its narrative unfolds alongside the progression through these environments, with the goal of awakening the Guardians of Light.

Light-Based Puzzles

Each stage centers on directing a beam of light toward its destination. Mirrors, prisms, portals, and other devices can be positioned and adjusted to bend the beam around obstacles. Illuminating certain creatures or mechanisms can open new paths, while other creatures may absorb the light and complicate a solution.

Exploration and Collectibles

Levels contain hidden luminescent fireflies to find while solving their main light-routing challenges. New abilities and power-ups become available for more demanding puzzles, and players can use the rewind feature to reconsider an approach after a mistake.
