Promenade is an action platformer developed and published by Red Art Games for Nintendo Switch. It follows Nemo and his octopus companion, Oboo, as they travel through fantastical areas after their world is broken into fragments.

The pair searches for Promenades, the scattered pieces needed to restore their home. Along the way, they meet friendly characters, confront mischievous foes, and uncover more about the calamity that divided their world.

Platforming with Oboo

The adventure combines 2D platforming with environmental puzzle-solving. Nemo can jump and dash, while Oboo provides additional ways to interact with the world. His tentacles can reach distant ledges and items, activate switches, move objects, and help Nemo deal with certain hazards.

Exploration and puzzles

Levels are designed around hidden routes, collectible Promenades, obstacles, and puzzle-box-like challenges. Progress calls for careful observation, precise movement, and creative use of the duo’s abilities. New mechanics and abilities are introduced as the journey continues, encouraging players to revisit areas and look for missed secrets.
