Gift is an action-puzzle game released for Nintendo Switch on May 09, 2024, and published by Bushiroad. Set during Hearthbrook's Gift-Giving Festival, it follows Pip and Lily as they work to correct a village-wide mix-up.

A mischievous sprite has exchanged presents across the celebration, leaving villagers with gifts that do not match their wishes. The pair must uncover the intended recipients and return the festival to harmony before its final celebration.

Follow the Clues

Each puzzle centers on observing villagers, listening to their dialogue, and studying gift tags, wrapping, and reactions. Characters offer hints through their preferences, occupations, and responses to the presents they currently hold. Solving one problem can also reveal information needed for another nearby exchange.

Swap Gifts Strategically

Players identify misplaced presents and trade them between characters to make the correct deliveries. Levels grow more complex as new areas and challenges become available, while timing, route planning, and careful choices help prevent wasted effort in the festival's timed situations.

Special Puzzle Tools

Pip and Lily can use the Gift Scope to glimpse a package's contents and the Whisper Wind to hear a villager's thoughts about a present. These abilities are especially useful when visual clues and conversations alone are not enough to determine the right swap.
