Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings is a role-playing game centered on twin sisters Lydie and Suelle Malen. Aspiring alchemists, they work alongside their father in a small atelier and hope to make it the most respected shop in the Adalet Kingdom.

Their lives change after they discover a painting in their father's basement that serves as a gateway to another world. These painted realms contain valuable ingredients, unfamiliar landscapes, and challenges that can help the sisters improve their craft while uncovering the paintings' secrets.

Painted Worlds to Explore

The adventure moves between the twins' everyday atelier life and the distinctive worlds hidden within mysterious artworks. Each painting introduces its own environments, enemies, resources, and opportunities for exploration. Requests from townspeople provide additional goals, rewards, reputation, and events as the story progresses.

Alchemy and Item Creation

Gathering materials is central to the journey, with ingredients used to create healing supplies, equipment, and other useful items. The synthesis system has players arrange ingredients on a grid, combining their properties to produce stronger results and discover recipes. Experimenting with materials is an important part of developing the atelier.

Turn-Based Battles and Companions
