About Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX is an RPG centered on twin sisters Lydie and Suelle Marlen. Living in Merveille, the pair hopes to turn their modest atelier into the kingdom's leading workshop.

Their ambitions change when a painting found in their basement opens a path to extraordinary worlds. These painted lands contain unusual materials, fantastic creatures, and discoveries tied to the sisters' family and the power of alchemy.

Painted worlds and atelier ambitions

Lydie and Suelle journey through distinct realms within mysterious paintings while pursuing requests, contests, and goals that raise their atelier's standing. Along the way, they encounter a varied cast, face new challenges, and develop their bond as sisters and alchemists.

Alchemy and exploration

Gathering ingredients is fundamental to each expedition, supplying materials for synthesizing items, weapons, and armor. The grid-based synthesis system makes ingredient placement and properties important, while Activation Items add another strategic consideration to crafting.

Turn-based battles

Combat uses turn-based encounters where positioning and elemental weaknesses matter. The Battle Mix system lets characters employ special alchemical attacks, providing powerful options during difficult fights.
