METAL SLUG ATTACK RELOADED brings the series' recognizable soldiers, vehicles, pixel art, and offbeat enemies into a real-time strategy format on Nintendo Switch. Released by SNK on June 18, 2024, it shifts the focus from run-and-gun action to tactical unit deployment.

Battles take place on two-dimensional fields where each side protects a headquarters while attempting to break through and destroy the opposing base. The conflict includes familiar forces such as the Regular Army and General Morden's Rebel Army, alongside alien and mummy-themed opponents.

Attack Points accumulate during battle and are spent to send units into the field.
