THE NEW DENPA MEN is a role-playing game from Genius Sonority, released for Nintendo Switch on July 22, 2024. It centers on finding and recruiting the unusual Denpa Men, small creatures with individual colors, antennae, and abilities.

Their antenna types determine special skills and elemental traits, making party construction an important part of preparing for adventures. Players can seek out new recruits, organize a balanced team, and take them into battles against creatures and bosses.

Turn-Based Party Battles

Combat uses turn-based commands and rewards careful choices. Different Denpa Men can fill offensive, defensive, support, healing, or status-focused roles, while equipment such as weapons, armor, and accessories can further shape a party's capabilities. Considering enemy weaknesses and resistances can be valuable in tougher encounters.

Exploration and Collection

The game combines traditional RPG exploration with a creature-collecting focus. Players visit dungeons, towns, and hidden areas in search of treasures, challenges, and additional Denpa Men. The recruitment system uses wireless scanning to locate Denpa Men associated with real-world radio waves.

Home Base and Play Options

A home base serves as a place to manage the team, heal, equip characters, and customize appearances. THE NEW DENPA MEN supports TV, Tabletop, and Handheld play. It is rated Everyone and includes English and Japanese language options, with single-system play for one player and local wireless play for up to four players.
