About Mario & Luigi Brothership

Mario & Luigi: Brothership is an action-adventure RPG from Nintendo for Nintendo Switch, released on November 7, 2024. It follows Mario and Luigi as they set out on a new seafaring journey built around cooperation between the two brothers.

The pair travel aboard Shipshape Island, a living island that serves as their base while they navigate unfamiliar waters. Alongside a mysterious companion known as Conductor, they encounter unusual characters and challenges during their attempt to find their way home and address the troubles surrounding them.

Brotherly combat

Battles use turn-based RPG systems combined with timed action commands. Players direct Mario and Luigi together, using careful button timing to strengthen attacks, avoid enemy strikes, and perform coordinated Bros. Attacks. Learning enemy patterns and the rhythms of different moves adds a strategic element to each encounter.

Exploration and traversal

Shipshape Island is more than a setting: it is used to move across the world map and access special interactions. Exploration also includes platforming, environmental puzzles, hidden routes, treasures, and items that can support the brothers during their adventure.
