Destroy All Humans! is an action-adventure from Black Forest Games, published by THQ Nordic for Nintendo Switch. Released on June 29, 2021, it follows Crypto-137, a Furon clone sent to 1950s Earth to recover human DNA.

Crypto’s assignment becomes more complicated after Crypto-136 is shot down by the US government. With sarcastic commander Orthopox overseeing the operation, Crypto must face civilians, military forces, and secret agencies while protecting Furon interests.

Alien invasion tools

Crypto can approach objectives through covert infiltration or open destruction. His abilities include telepathy, Psychokinesis for moving objects, Cortex Scan for reading minds, Transmog for converting objects into ammunition, and Holobob, which projects a human disguise.

Weapons and saucer attacks

The alien arsenal includes the Zap-o-Matic, Disintegrator Ray, and Anal Probe. Crypto can also pilot a flying saucer equipped for attacks on buildings, vehicles, military units, and anti-air defenses, creating a distinct aerial combat option alongside on-foot action.

DNA and exploration

Missions revolve around gathering DNA, which can be used to improve Crypto’s weapons, psychic skills, and saucer equipment. The game features several contained areas inspired by 1950s America, with side activities, secrets, challenges, and battles against stronger human opponents.
