INSIDE is a 2018 adventure game from Playdead for Nintendo Switch. It follows a nameless young boy moving through a stark dystopian world, apparently fleeing an unexplained authority.

The game tells its unsettling story without dialogue or conventional cutscenes. Silent figures, surveillance, and disturbing experiments shape a mystery that is revealed through the places the boy explores.

Puzzle-Platforming Through a Hostile World

Presented in 2.5D, INSIDE combines platforming with environmental puzzles built around physics, logic, and observation. Players move objects, operate machinery, and use elements such as water and gravity to open routes through forests, flooded spaces, and industrial facilities.

Tension, Escapes, and Experimentation

Danger is a constant presence as the boy faces lethal hazards and urgent escape sequences.
