The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

04 About The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a Capcom adventure game released for Nintendo Switch on July 27, 2021. Set across Meiji-era Japan and Victorian London, it follows Ryunosuke Naruhodo as he begins his path as a defense attorney.

Its narrative spans ten connected cases involving mysteries, courtroom confrontations, and revelations shaped by evidence and testimony. The game is available in English and Japanese.

Investigations and evidence

Cases begin with investigations in which Ryunosuke explores locations, speaks with characters, examines scenes, and gathers information for court. Close observation is central, as details discovered during these sequences can become important evidence later.

Courtroom challenges

Trials focus on cross-examining witnesses, pressing statements for further details, exposing contradictions, and presenting evidence in defense of a client. Some proceedings feature several witnesses testifying at once, while a six-person jury adds another element to the courtroom process.

Dance of Deduction

Ryunosuke also works alongside Herlock Sholmes in Dance of Deduction sequences. These interactive deductions involve revising Sholmes's initial conclusions to uncover what truly happened.
