Corpse Party Blood Drive

04 About Corpse Party Blood Drive

Corpse Party Blood Drive is a horror-focused adventure game developed by 5pb and published by XSEED Games. Released for Nintendo Switch in 2019, it serves as the conclusion to the Corpse Party storyline and is available in English for Europe and the USA.

The story follows Ayumi Shinozaki after the events of Corpse Party: Book of Shadows. Grieving her lost friends and burdened by the Sachiko Everafter, she seeks the cursed Book of Shadows in the hope of bringing them back.

A descent into Heavenly Host

Ayumi's search leads further into the supernatural secrets surrounding Heavenly Host Elementary School and its hostile spirits. The narrative centers on guilt, sacrifice, cursed artifacts, and difficult decisions as its characters face escalating paranormal danger.

3D horror exploration

Blood Drive moves the series into fully rendered 3D locations, using fixed camera angles to frame its dark, confined environments. Visual novel sequences carry the story between exploration segments, while players inspect surroundings, collect items, and work through puzzles to open new routes.

Survival under pressure

Exploration requires attention to health, sanity, and limited flashlight use. Dark areas, traps, hidden objects, and hostile spirits create ongoing hazards, with stealth and evasion playing an important role. Choices made during the adventure can lead to multiple endings.
