04 About Demon Gaze EXTRA

Demon Gaze EXTRA is a role-playing game from KADOKAWA GAMES, released for Nintendo Switch on July 6, 2021. Set in the frontier town of Misred, it follows Oz, an amnesiac young man who possesses the Demon Gaze, an eye capable of defeating and sealing demons.

Oz stays at the Dragon Princess's Inn while venturing into dangerous labyrinths. As he confronts demons and investigates the threats surrounding Misred, he learns more about his past, the creatures plaguing the region, and the people connected to his journey.

First-Person Labyrinth Exploration

The adventure centers on navigating expansive first-person dungeons filled with monsters, hidden passages, treasure, and powerful encounters. Magic Circles are used within the labyrinths to summon and challenge boss demons, making preparation and careful exploration important parts of progress.

Turn-Based Battles and Demon Allies

Combat uses a turn-based system built around party strategy, skills, spells, equipment, and character development. Defeated demons can be sealed through the Demon Gaze and recruited to strengthen Oz's group. Players can shape their approach through different classes, races, gear, and party arrangements.

Extra Features

This version adds quality-of-life options intended to make dungeon travel and combat smoother, including auto-move and high-speed battles. It also includes Freelife features that provide additional activities after the main story.
