04 About ARIA CHRONICLE

ARIA CHRONICLE is a strategy, adventure, and role-playing game developed by Studio N9 and published by Crest. Released for Nintendo Switch on July 8, 2021, it follows Princess Lincia on a pilgrimage tied to a curse carried by her bloodline.

Lincia seeks to cleanse the land, protect her people, and uncover the origins of the so-called Lineage of the Cursed. Along the way, she encounters allies and opponents whose motives shape the dangers surrounding her quest.

Turn-Based Tactical Battles

Combat takes place on a grid and rewards careful positioning, planning, and awareness of enemy attack ranges. Players can use environmental elements, status effects, elemental weaknesses, and character combinations to gain an advantage against formidable opponents.

Party Building and Progression

The game allows players to recruit and manage heroes with different classes. Preparing for missions involves developing skills, equipping gear, arranging party formations, and balancing roles such as healing, damage, and crowd control.

Dungeons and Challenges

Exploration leads through dungeons containing traps, treasures, and monsters. Resource use and target priorities matter during difficult encounters, while battle and mission choices can influence how situations unfold.
