Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

04 About Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II is an action-adventure role-playing game developed and published by Interplay for Nintendo Switch. Set in the Forgotten Realms, it continues after the previous heroes disappear, leaving a new group of adventurers to investigate their fate.

The journey leads through dangerous regions including cities, frozen terrain, dungeons, crypts, wilderness areas, and the Moonshae Isles. As a dark alliance led by the lich Mordoc threatens the realm, the party searches for clues, powerful artifacts, and allies.

Choose Your Hero

Five playable characters offer different approaches to combat: a human barbarian, elven monk, dwarven defender, human necromancer, and drow archer. Their distinct abilities, fighting styles, spells, and skill options let players develop a character around melee strength, archery, defense, or magic.

Real-Time Dungeon Combat

Battles use hack-and-slash action against enemies such as goblins, trolls, and dark mages. Players can block, dodge, and use powerful attacks while facing demanding boss encounters. Character progression grants skill points for new techniques and spells as challenges become more dangerous.

Loot, Gear, and Cooperation

Weapons, armor, shields, and magical accessories can be found and equipped to improve each hero. The item creation system allows gear to be crafted and customized with enhancements. Local cooperative play supports two players tackling the adventure together, coordinating attacks and support during difficult encounters.
