BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light

04 About BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light

BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light is a role-playing game from Koei Tecmo for Nintendo Switch. It follows Ao Hoshizaki, who wakes in a mysterious floating school with no memories beyond her name.

Alongside Kokoro and Yuki, two other girls facing the same loss of memory, Ao searches for answers beyond the school in the strange dimension known as the Heartscape.

A world shaped by memory

The Heartscape contains unusual landscapes, monsters, clues to the girls’ pasts, and connections between their forgotten identities. As more girls join the group, the story explores friendship, loss, and the emotional bonds that unite them while they seek a route home.

Reflector battles

Combat uses a strategic, fast-paced turn-based system with real-time elements. A party of three Reflectors faces Heartscape creatures, using character strengths and enemy weaknesses to build Ether and release stronger attacks. Fragments can be equipped to improve statistics and add abilities, allowing different approaches for each encounter.

School life and exploration

Between expeditions, players can explore the school, speak with classmates, and take part in activities that deepen relationships. Stronger bonds can unlock skills, Co-Op abilities, and character growth. Materials found in the Heartscape are used to craft items, equipment, and school facilities that provide useful benefits.
