Samurai Warriors 5 Deluxe Edition is an action role-playing game from Koei Tecmo for Nintendo Switch, released on June 24, 2021. Set during Japan’s Sengoku period, it presents a renewed take on the long-running samurai action series.

The story follows the early lives and connected destinies of Oda Nobunaga and Akechi Mitsuhide. Their rise unfolds amid ambition, shifting loyalties, conflict, and the events surrounding Japan’s unification.
