Set during the final days of World War II, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered places players in the role of Karl Fairburne, an American OSS sniper operating in Berlin as the Third Reich collapses. His mission is to stop the V2 rocket program from reaching Soviet forces by pursuing key German scientists, exposing double agents, and disrupting enemy plans.

This Nintendo Switch remaster combines stealth-focused infiltration with deliberate long-range shooting. Missions take place across historically inspired Berlin environments, where observation, positioning, and careful timing can be as important as pulling the trigger.

Precision Under Pressure

Ballistics account for factors such as gravity, wind, and bullet drop, making each distant shot a calculated decision. Players can survey areas with binoculars, identify patrols and hazards, and seek advantageous firing positions before engaging targets.

Stealth and Tactical Tools

Avoiding detection is often preferable to open combat. Rifle shots can be concealed by environmental noise, while distractions, traps, tripwires, landmines, explosives, and environmental hazards offer additional ways to manage enemy forces. Close-range encounters can also be handled with pistols and submachine guns.

X-Ray Kill Cam

Successful shots can activate the series' X-ray Kill Cam, showing a bullet's trajectory and the damage it inflicts on an enemy's bones and organs. The feature emphasizes the impact of accurate marksmanship during high-value eliminations and other critical engagements.
