Little Nightmares Complete Edition

04 About Little Nightmares Complete Edition

Little Nightmares Complete Edition is a platformer game from Tarsier Studios, published by BANDAI NAMCO for Nintendo Switch. It combines stealth, environmental puzzles, exploration, and tense escapes within a dark, stylized horror setting.

The edition contains the main journey of Six alongside the Secrets of The Maw expansion. Both stories take place aboard The Maw, an immense vessel populated by grotesque inhabitants and filled with dangerous hidden spaces.

Escape from The Maw

Players follow Six, a small girl in a yellow raincoat attempting to flee The Maw. Her route leads past threatening residents including the long-armed Janitor, twin Chefs, and ravenous Guests. The expansion shifts focus to the Runaway Kid, whose parallel journey reveals further areas and dangers, including the Granny and watchful dwellers.

Stealth, puzzles, and platforming

The game emphasizes the vulnerability of its tiny protagonists in oversized environments. Players hide beneath furniture and in shadows, climb and jump through hazardous spaces, manipulate objects, and use environmental mechanisms to open a path forward. Chase sequences add urgency when hiding is no longer possible.

An unsettling visual world

Darkly whimsical environments and environmental storytelling shape the atmosphere of The Maw. Creaking surroundings, distant sounds, and imposing enemies support the sense of danger as players explore its kitchens, corridors, and concealed passages.
