Katamari Damacy REROLL is a puzzle game in which the Prince of All Cosmos is sent to Earth after the King of All Cosmos destroys the stars. The Prince must create enormous Katamari balls that can be launched into space to restore stars and constellations.

Beginning with tiny objects such as thumbtacks and candy, each Katamari gradually grows large enough to collect people, vehicles, buildings, and more. The game combines an unusual premise with playful narration from the King, whose commentary ranges from encouragement to sharp criticism.

Roll, collect, and grow

Players guide the sticky Katamari using both analog sticks, rolling through environments and picking up anything small enough to attach. As the ball increases in size, previously immovable objects become collectible, opening up new possibilities throughout each area.

Stage objectives

Levels set size targets that must be reached within a time limit. Efficient routes, clusters of small items, and careful movement are important early on, while larger Katamaris can dash forward and tackle bigger obstacles. Environments include houses, streets, towns, and cosmic locations.

A distinctive presentation

This remake retains the series' whimsical charm through its eccentric world, memorable music, and escalating scale. Progression brings additional items, constellations, and challenges as the Prince works toward rebuilding the night sky.
