The game takes place in Mobius, a virtual reality created by the sentient vocaloid μ. Its residents relive idealized high school lives without pain or sorrow, but a group called the Go-Home Club realizes that this paradise is a prison and attempts to return to reality.

A struggle to leave Mobius

The Go-Home Club faces the Ostinato Musicians, followers of μ who use songs to keep Mobius’s inhabitants passive and content. As the group pushes toward escape, the story explores the hidden traumas that brought its members into the virtual world and the difficult realities waiting beyond it.

Imaginary Chain combat

Battles use a tactical turn-based system centered on Imaginary Chain. This feature lets players foresee enemy actions and plan attacks, counters, and combinations in advance. Party members have distinct skills, making team selection, timing, and the exploitation of enemy weaknesses important during encounters.

Relationships and equipment

Causality Link allows connections with more than 500 NPCs, opening access to information, quests, and possible combat assistance. Players can also use Stigmas to improve character statistics and grant special abilities. Dungeons are tied to the emotional conflicts of the Ostinato Musicians, providing themed challenges throughout the journey.
