Resident Evil Revelations 2

04 About Resident Evil Revelations 2

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is an action-adventure horror game from Capcom, released for Nintendo Switch on November 28, 2017. Its story follows two connected escapes from a dangerous island shaped by experiments, bioweapons, and a hidden conspiracy.

Claire Redfield and Moira Burton are abducted during a TerraSave event and imprisoned in an abandoned detention facility. Six months later, Barry Burton arrives to find Moira, accompanied by Natalia Korda, a girl able to detect enemies and hidden objects.

Intertwined island story

Claire and Moira must survive the facility while being monitored by wristbands linked to their fear. Their path crosses with the Overseer, who watches the captives endure deadly trials. Barry and Natalia explore the island later, gradually uncovering what happened to the missing pair and the forces behind the outbreak.

Paired survival gameplay

The campaign centers on controlling two characters with complementary skills. Claire provides combat ability, while Moira can use her flashlight to reveal secrets and stun enemies. Barry handles combat in his chapters, and Natalia can sense threats and concealed items. Exploration, environmental puzzles, stealth, crafting materials, healing supplies, and limited ammunition all shape the fight for survival against the Afflicted and other mutated enemies.

Raid Mode

Raid Mode offers separate mission-based action with multiple characters, weapon customization, rewards, and character progression. It provides an additional combat-focused mode alongside the main story.
