Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is an action shooting game for Nintendo Switch, released on April 21, 2022. Developed by Inin Games and published by Natsume, it revisits the series' arcade-style top-down shooting with a reimagined adventure centered on Pocky and Rocky.

A strange force has disrupted the Nopino Goblins and disturbed the peace around their shrine. Pocky, a shrine maiden, joins Rocky the tanuki to investigate the threat, traveling through forests, caverns, and temples while confronting mythical enemies and powerful bosses.

Top-Down Shooting Action

The game uses multi-directional, top-down combat built around movement, projectile dodging, attacks, power-ups, and special moves. Pocky fights with purifying cards and can slide through dangerous situations, while Rocky uses leaf attacks and tail spins for close-range control. Defensive actions include dodging and reflecting projectiles.

Characters and Challenges

Pocky and Rocky have different abilities, allowing players to approach enemy groups and bosses in distinct ways. Additional playable characters can be unlocked as progress is made. Stages feature hand-drawn settings, hidden secrets, varied enemy designs, and demanding bullet-heavy encounters.

Local Cooperative Play

Two players can take on the journey together through local cooperative play. Combining character abilities can help cover more space during hectic battles and provide another way to tackle the game's retro-inspired challenge.
