Crysis Remastered

04 About Crysis Remastered

Crysis Remastered is an action game from Crytek, released for Nintendo Switch on July 23, 2020. It revisits the first-person sci-fi conflict set on the fictional Lingshan Islands in the Philippines.

Players take the role of Nomad, a Delta Force operative sent to answer a distress call involving American archaeologists. The mission begins amid conflict with North Korean forces, then expands after the discovery of an ancient alien structure and the arrival of the Ceph.

The Nanosuit

Nomad’s advanced Nanosuit supports different approaches to combat through Armor, Strength, Speed, and Cloak modes. These abilities can be used for defense, stronger attacks and jumps, rapid movement, or stealth-oriented positioning as situations change.

Tactical Combat

Missions offer room to scout enemy positions, explore the environment, and choose how to pursue objectives. Players can modify weapons with attachments such as scopes, silencers, and grenade launchers, while vehicle encounters add jeeps and tanks to the on-foot action.

A Reactive Battlefield

Destructible parts of the environment can create tactical opportunities, including new routes and cover. Human opponents and alien enemies require adaptable tactics, with ammunition and Nanosuit energy serving as resources to manage during engagements.

Languages and Region

The Nintendo Switch release supports English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian. It is listed for Europe, the USA, and Japan.
