Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is an action-adventure horror game from Steel Wool Games. Set inside Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex, it follows Gregory, a boy trapped in the entertainment complex overnight.

Gregory must stay alive until 6 AM while searching for a way out. Freddy Fazbear becomes an unexpected ally, helping him evade the hostile figures roaming the Pizzaplex.

Security Breach moves beyond the series’ usual fixed-location format with a large free-roam environment. Players can explore different areas of the Mega Pizzaplex, locate hidden routes, and uncover secrets while pursuing escape.

Stealth and survival

Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator, Glamrock Chica, security guard Vanessa, and Vanny present ongoing threats. Gregory can use lockers, vents, distractions, and Freddy’s internal compartment to avoid detection. Battery use for tools such as the flashlight and Faz-Watch requires careful attention.

Puzzles, upgrades, and outcomes

Environmental puzzles and mini-games are part of Gregory’s route through the complex. Collectible items and upgrades can assist both Gregory and Freddy, while exploration and player choices can lead to multiple endings.

Released for Nintendo Switch on April 19, 2023, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach supports TV, Tabletop, and Handheld play.
