We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie is a Nintendo Switch puzzle game from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, released on June 2, 2023. It revisits the eccentric universe of the King of All Cosmos and his son, the Prince, with enhanced HD presentation.

After the King destroys the stars, the Prince is sent to create new ones by rolling up objects into a Katamari. Fan requests shape the main stages, while Royal Reverie looks back at the King's childhood through challenges set by his father.

Roll, Collect, and Grow

The central task is to guide the Prince's sticky Katamari through imaginative locations and pick up anything smaller than the ball. A run may begin with tiny items such as buttons and pencils, then expand toward cars, buildings, and natural formations as the Katamari grows. Stage goals include reaching a required size within a time limit or gathering particular kinds of objects.

Royal Reverie Challenges

Royal Reverie adds five challenges centered on the younger King of All Cosmos. These missions provide another perspective on his past while retaining the series' object-collecting structure and unusual objectives.

Ways to Play

Players can explore settings ranging from schoolyards and cities to outer space, with each area offering objects that become collectible as the Katamari increases in size. The game also includes two-player local co-op, allowing two players to roll together, along with unlockable costumes for the Prince and his cousins.
