Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 – Deluxe Edition is a role-playing game developed and published by CyberConnect2. Released on May 11, 2023, it continues the story of children caught in a war-torn world, returning to a dangerous journey shaped by loss, courage, and friendship.

After tragedy separates the group from some of their companions, the remaining children take control of the Tarascus. Their mission is to rescue their friends and uncover the truth behind the world and the powerful tanks at the center of their conflict.

A story of difficult choices

The narrative focuses on young heroes facing the harsh consequences of war while trying to hold onto hope. Decisions made during the journey can affect their path, relationships, and outcomes, reinforcing themes of sacrifice, resilience, and loyalty.

Turn-based tank battles

Combat combines strategic turn-based encounters with crew management. Each child has distinct abilities and combat roles, including offense, defense, and support, so squad placement and skill combinations matter when confronting enemies and bosses.

Managing the Tarascus

Players upgrade the Tarascus with stronger weapons, armor, and auxiliary parts while managing resources for the road ahead. Character progression includes leveling, skills, and equipment, and world-map routes can lead to different encounters, supplies, and story events.
