Everspace – Stellar Edition is an action game from ROCKFISH Games for Nintendo Switch. It combines fast space combat with a roguelike structure, placing players in the cockpit of a clone pilot who wakes beside a destroyed ship with no memory of the past.

Each journey moves through procedurally generated areas filled with hazards, enemies, derelicts, and resources. A failed run ends the current attempt, but knowledge and certain progress carry forward as the pilot continues searching for answers about their origins and the conflict surrounding them.

Combat and exploration

Dogfights emphasize maneuvering, weapon use, and quick reactions against different enemy types. Players travel through nebulae, asteroid fields, and contested sectors while salvaging equipment, collecting resources, and investigating points of interest. Encounters, data logs, and environmental details gradually reveal more of the setting's larger mystery.

Ships and upgrades

Resources such as fuel, scrap, and credits support survival between jumps and help improve a vessel. Weapons, shields, and devices can be fitted to adapt to escalating threats, while blueprints and salvaged gear expand available options. Persistent upgrades and additional ships provide longer-term progression across multiple runs.

A changing run

Fuel, ammunition, hull condition, and shields all require attention during a journey. The shifting sector layout means each attempt presents different routes, loot, and dangers, encouraging experimentation with loadouts, careful resource use, and tactical choices about when to fight or withdraw.
