Phantom Breaker: Omnia is an arcade action fighting game from Rocket Panda Games, released on March 15, 2022. It combines pixel-art character visuals with modern enhancements and focuses on fast 2D battles built around combos, special attacks, defense, and timing.

The game presents an approachable control system for newcomers while retaining strategic systems for players who want to explore character matchups, combo routes, meter use, and defensive choices. Its roster includes more than 20 fighters, each with individual movesets and motivations.

Tournament story

The conflict begins with a mysterious figure called Phantom, who stages a tournament and supplies its participants with powerful Fu-mension Artifacts. Drawn by personal goals such as revenge, protecting loved ones, or seeking a challenge, the fighters become involved in a contest with consequences beyond their individual battles. As events progress, Phantom’s motives point toward a dangerous disruption involving space, time, and parallel dimensions.

Three fighting styles

Before combat, players select between Quick, Hard, and Omnia styles. These options alter a character’s abilities, movement, and defensive possibilities, creating different approaches to offense and defense. Matches revolve around finding openings, linking attacks into combos, and choosing when to commit to powerful techniques.

Combat systems and modes

Special moves, super moves, and burst attacks are tied to Tension Gauge management, so resource decisions can influence the flow of a round. Counter and evasion mechanics provide ways to answer incoming pressure and create opportunities to retaliate. Story, Arcade, Versus, and Training modes offer places to follow the narrative, take on battles, play matches, or study characters and their tools.
