Blades of Time is an action-adventure game released for Nintendo Switch on May 14, 2019. Developed and published by GaijinDistribution, it follows Ayumi, a daring treasure hunter drawn to the mysterious island of Dragonland in search of valuable artifacts.

Her expedition becomes a fight against the island's dark forces after she uncovers the power of the Dragon Blood. Ayumi must confront monstrous enemies, investigate ancient secrets, and stop a dangerous power from being used.

Combat and abilities

Ayumi battles with melee weapons, firearms, and magic in fast-paced hack-and-slash encounters. Weapons, spells, experience, and equipment upgrades support different approaches against enemy groups and larger boss foes.

Time manipulation

A central ability lets Ayumi rewind time, correct previous actions, and create temporal copies of herself. This mechanic adds tactical options during battles and is also used to overcome environmental puzzles.

Exploring Dragonland

Dragonland includes varied locations such as jungles, icy areas, temples, and ruins. Exploration can reveal treasure, hidden routes, upgrades, and encounters with fantasy creatures while Ayumi investigates the island's ancient mysteries.
