Bright Memory: Infinite Gold Edition is an action first-person shooter from Playism for Nintendo Switch. It follows Shelia, an agent of the Supernatural Science Research Organization, after a black hole anomaly threatens to force two dimensions together.

The crisis brings ancient creatures and unexplained forces into the modern world. As Shelia investigates, she encounters connections between the anomaly, powerful artifacts and a secret organization, moving through futuristic locations and older environments in a race to prevent disaster.

Gunplay and sword combat

Combat combines firearms with close-range sword attacks, allowing Shelia to shift between shooting and melee combos during encounters. Quick reactions and precise timing are important when facing supernatural enemies and larger boss fights.

Abilities and movement

Shelia can use telekinetic powers, a dash and other special techniques to reposition, evade attacks and manage groups of opponents. Players can combine weapons, melee attacks and abilities into different combat approaches.

Weapons and progression

A range of weapons and skills can be upgraded to strengthen Shelia’s combat options. Encounters also reward awareness of enemy behavior, including when to use ranged attacks against distant or airborne targets and when to counter incoming moves.
