Burnout Paradise Remastered

04 About Burnout Paradise Remastered

Burnout Paradise Remastered is an open-world racing game set across Paradise City. Rather than following a linear story, it centers on building a driving reputation by winning events, taking down rivals, and upgrading a Burnout License.

The Nintendo Switch release arrived on June 19, 2020. Developed and published by Electronic Arts, it supports English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian.

Paradise City Racing

Players can drive freely through the city, locate shortcuts and jumps, and begin events at traffic lights or designated locations. Event types include Race, Road Rage, Marked Man, Stunt Run, and Burning Route, each emphasizing different driving skills.

Takedowns and Driving Style

Aggressive driving is central to the experience. Takedowns let players wreck opposing vehicles against traffic, barriers, and other obstacles, while boosts, drifts, near misses, and route knowledge can help maintain speed and create an advantage.

Remastered Content

This edition includes the original game’s content along with eight major DLC packs. The additional material includes more vehicles and challenges, plus Big Surf Island. Players can collect and drive more than 150 vehicles with differing handling, discover hidden routes, and find activities such as billboard smashes and super jumps.
