Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days is a Nintendo Switch board and simulation game from Bushiroad, released on November 16, 2022. It adapts the strategic rhythm of Cardfight!! Vanguard into digital, turn-based card fights centered on planning, resources, and deck construction.

The original story follows Yuki Ichidoji, a reserved high school student who discovers Vanguard fighting alongside her friend Gosetsu Katsushika. As Yuki meets rival fighters and new characters, her pursuit of becoming a stronger player shapes both the narrative and its duels.

Card battles built on strategy

Matches ask players to read the state of the field, anticipate opposing plays, and make effective use of Vanguard circle mechanics. Decisions about attacking, defending, conserving cards, and pushing for damage can determine the direction of a fight.

Decks and card choices

With more than 1,000 cards available, the game supports a wide range of deck combinations and clan-based strategies. Its deck editor allows players to refine their builds, experiment with card abilities, and adjust unit and trigger ratios to suit a chosen approach.

Learning and practice

An in-game tutorial introduces Vanguard's core rules for newer players. Practice battles against AI opponents provide space to test card synergies, resource use, guarding decisions, and deck revisions before taking on further challenges.

Fight other players

In addition to the story content, Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days includes ranked and casual online battles. Players can also customize their in-game avatar with outfits and accessories for use in battles.
