Contra Rogue Corps is a Shoot-‘Em-Up Game from Konami, released for Nintendo Switch on September 24, 2019. It reworks the series' run-and-gun action into a top-down, isometric twin-stick shooter built around constant enemy pressure and explosive encounters.

Set after Contra III: The Alien Wars, the game follows the Rogue Corps, an unusual mercenary unit sent into the mysterious Damned City. Their assignment is to recover resources, confront alien threats, and investigate the dangerous city before its secrets lead to another catastrophe.

Four Mercenaries in the Damned City

Players choose from Kaiser, Ms. Harakiri, Hungry Beast, and Gentleman. Each member of the Rogue Corps has distinct abilities and can be equipped with different combat loadouts, offering multiple approaches to the missions and their hostile alien inhabitants.

Twin-Stick Combat and Customization

Battles use twin-stick shooting from an isometric viewpoint, with swarms of creatures, traps, destructible surroundings, elite enemies, and large bosses. Weapons and body parts can be customized, while collected loot and upgrades improve a character's combat potential. F.U.N.K. special moves provide powerful options for clearing groups of enemies.

Cooperative Alien Hunting

Contra Rogue Corps supports cooperative play for up to four players, both locally and online. Teams can coordinate attacks, concentrate fire on dangerous targets, and revive allies during intense encounters. Boss fights and enemy formations reward movement, awareness of attack patterns, and careful use of each character's abilities.
