Cosmic Robots is an action and arcade game set in a far-off future where intelligent machines remain after humanity’s disappearance. Players follow Unit 7, an inquisitive exploration robot drawn toward mysterious transmissions from a forgotten planet.

The signals point to the Aether Core, a legendary power source that could restore fading star systems. A corrupted AI group known as the Nullifiers is pursuing the same objective, sending Unit 7 and its fellow robots across dangerous regions of space.

Exploration Across the Galaxy

The journey moves through procedurally generated planets, star systems, nebulae, asteroid fields, space stations, and ancient ruins. Hidden locations contain resources, blueprints, and lore entries connected to the wider setting and humanity’s fate.

Combat, Puzzles, and Upgrades

Real-time encounters ask players to use robot abilities, enemy weaknesses, and surrounding hazards strategically. Environmental puzzles open routes and reveal secrets, while collected materials and schematics can be used to create weapons and defensive modules. Robot systems and abilities can also be upgraded and tailored to different approaches.

Robot Companions

Unit 7 is joined by AI-controlled companion robots with individual skills and personalities. Their abilities can support exploration and help shift difficult battles, alongside experimentation with different weapon and module combinations.
