Dawn of the Breakers is an action, fighting, adventure, and role-playing game developed and published by CyberStep for Nintendo Switch. Released on July 26, 2018, it supports English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese across Europe, USA, and Japan regions.

The game centers on a conflict with the Breakers, mysterious beings that arrive through interdimensional rifts and threaten the world of Aerth. Players follow Elara, a newly awakened Guardian, as she searches for answers about her abilities and the origin of these invaders.

Guardians and Aerth

Elara travels through cities and ruined locations while gathering allies with different backgrounds. The journey also involves surviving human factions competing for resources and influence, adding political tension to the struggle against the increasingly dangerous Breakers.

Real-Time Battles

Combat combines fast real-time action with tactical choices. Guardians use individual skills and ultimate abilities against groups of enemies and major boss encounters, with movement, timing, dodging, and attention to enemy attack patterns playing an important role.

Team Growth and Exploration

Players can recruit and improve a roster of characters with distinct roles, adjust team compositions, and develop Guardian strengths through progression. Exploration provides materials, treasures, and equipment opportunities, while crafting and upgrades can improve the team’s capabilities.

Cooperative Missions

Cooperative elements allow Guardians to face greater threats together. Coordinating with companions and using combined attacks can help during demanding encounters, while cooperative missions offer additional rewards.
