Disaster Report 4 Summer Memories

04 About Disaster Report 4 Summer Memories

Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is an adventure game developed by Granzella and published by NIS America. Released for Nintendo Switch on April 07, 2020, it follows a traveler caught in a massive summer earthquake while visiting a major Japanese city.

The disaster transforms the city into a hazardous landscape of damaged streets, collapsing structures, and frightened survivors. Escaping the devastation means navigating danger while deciding how to respond to the people encountered along the way.

Survival in a Shattered City

Exploration centers on finding safe routes through unstable urban areas and searching for supplies. Food, water, first-aid items, and other resources support the character’s physical condition, while hunger, thirst, stamina, and emotional stress remain important concerns during the crisis.

Choices and Survivor Encounters

Conversations with survivors can reveal requests, personal circumstances, and new possibilities. Dialogue choices and actions influence relationships, karma, and the outcomes faced by people in the disaster zone, placing moral decisions alongside the immediate need to stay safe.

Hazards and Discovery

Players move through crumbling buildings and dangerous streets while watching for falling debris and other threats. Careful observation, environmental puzzles, item searches, and assistance for others can open additional routes and uncover further details about the people and mysteries surrounding the catastrophe.
