Football Manager 2023 Touch is a football management simulation from SEGA for Nintendo Switch, released on November 7, 2022. Rather than following a fixed plot, it lets each managerial save develop through the decisions made for a chosen club.

Managers guide their team through seasons of league competition, transfer activity, injuries and changing challenges. A career can focus on improving a struggling side or sustaining success with an established club, with results on and off the pitch shaping the journey.

Club management

The role covers key areas of running a football team. Build a squad by scouting players, negotiating transfers and contracts, selling unwanted talent, and considering team chemistry alongside financial limits. Player morale, individual training and the selection of a first eleven also form part of day-to-day management.

Tactics and match days

Create formations, assign player roles and set instructions for how the team approaches each fixture. Matches allow tactical plans to be observed through the game’s 2D or 3D match engine, while live adjustments can be made as play develops. Different opponents and player strengths can call for changes in approach.

Scouting and youth development

A scouting network can be used to identify promising young players and experienced additions for the current squad. Young prospects may be developed through the academy and given opportunities to progress, while backroom staff support training and scouting work across the club.
