Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

04 About Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is an action-adventure puzzle game from CAPCOM. Sissel awakens as a ghost with no memory of his past, discovering that he must uncover the truth behind his murder before dawn or lose his soul forever.

Set within a mystery involving suspicious deaths, unusual allies, and a shadowy organization, the game follows Sissel as he gathers clues and pieces together the events of his final night. The remastered release brings this distinctive detective story to Nintendo Switch.

Ghostly powers and time reversal

Sissel can possess inanimate objects and trigger their functions, using these Ghost Tricks to move through locations and alter the environment. When he encounters a death scene, he can rewind time by four minutes and attempt to change the sequence of events that led to it.

Puzzle-solving through observation

Progress depends on studying characters, objects, and the order in which events unfold. Activating objects can create chain reactions, open routes, or redirect danger, while conversations with other ghosts provide additional context and clues.

A race to uncover the truth

Each intervention brings Sissel closer to understanding his identity and the circumstances of his death. The story combines supernatural investigation with an evolving cast of characters, unexpected turns, and a deadline that gives every discovery added urgency.
