Gravity Circuit is a 2D action platformer for Nintendo Switch, released on July 13, 2023. Developed and published by Plug In Digital, it combines arcade-style combat, platforming challenges, and pixel-art presentation inspired by 16-bit action games.

Set after a devastating war, the game follows Kai, a powerful Circuit operative. When the robotic Virus Army attacks vital digital infrastructure, Kai sets out to confront its leaders, investigate the invasion, and protect the fragile peace humanity has rebuilt.

Fast-paced combat and movement

Kai fights primarily at close range, using punches, kicks, special Circuit abilities, and a versatile grappling hook. Dashing, jumping, dodging, and chaining attacks are central to surviving encounters with robotic enemies. The hook also supports traversal, can assist during combat, and helps reach otherwise inaccessible areas.

Stages, bosses, and secrets

Levels pair environmental obstacles with enemy encounters that reward quick reactions and careful use of Kai’s abilities. Hidden routes, collectible upgrades, and refills encourage exploration, while large boss battles demand attention to attack patterns, energy management, and defensive timing.

Retro-inspired presentation

Gravity Circuit presents its futuristic conflict through vibrant pixel art, energetic retro-styled music, cutscenes, and character interactions. Its action-focused design blends classic run-and-gun sensibilities with melee combat and modern movement options.
