Hyperdimension Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters

04 About Hyperdimension Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters

Hyperdimension Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters is a role-playing game from Idea Factory for Nintendo Switch. Set in Gamindustri, it follows Nepgear and the other Candidates after they return from a mysterious dimension five years after the Goddesses disappeared.

They find Planeptune changed by the Trendi Outbreak, a phenomenon linked to mobile-device addiction that drains people of their life force. With the elder Goddesses still absent, the sisters must face the crisis and search for a way to restore hope.

A changed Gamindustri

The story centers on the Candidates taking on greater responsibility in a world affected by technological dependence. Familiar enemies and new threats stand in their path, while Maho and Grey Sister become part of the unfolding mystery. The journey emphasizes growth, determination, and the bonds between the sisters.

Real-time party combat

This entry uses action-focused battles rather than the series' earlier turn-based approach. Players can form a party of up to three characters and switch among them during combat, combining melee and ranged attacks while targeting enemy weaknesses. EXE Drives and Combination Attacks provide stronger options for difficult encounters and boss battles.

Exploration and customization

Gamindustri's cities and dungeons contain NPCs, quests, treasures, and challenges. Weapons, armor, and accessories can be equipped to adjust the party, while customization affects both character appearance and stats. Side quests offer additional rewards and opportunities to strengthen the team.

Release details

Hyperdimension Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters was released in Japan on August 10, 2023. The Nintendo Switch version is presented in Japanese.
