04 About Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Rising is an action game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. Released for Nintendo Switch on December 3, 2020, it follows Fenyx, a shield-bearer drawn into a crisis threatening both the Olympian gods and the mortal world.

After Typhon escapes imprisonment and strips the gods of their essence, Fenyx arrives on the ruined Golden Isle. With Prometheus as a guide and Zeus narrating the journey, Fenyx sets out to restore the gods, confront the titan, and prevent the world’s destruction.

A humorous mythological quest

The adventure uses a lighthearted take on Greek mythology, with banter between Zeus and Prometheus accompanying Fenyx’s journey. Fenyx encounters altered versions of the gods, including Ares and Aphrodite, and helps them recover their identities and powers through distinct challenges.

Explore the Golden Isle

The Golden Isle is an open world filled with hidden locations, collectibles, side quests, mythical creatures, and ancient secrets. Fenyx can climb and glide across the landscape, using a stamina system that also supports charged attacks and traversal.

Combat, vaults, and upgrades

Fenyx battles foes such as gorgons and cyclops with weapons, divine powers, and special abilities. Environmental puzzles and Tartaros Vaults add problem-solving challenges, while resources can be used at the Hall of the Gods to craft potions and improve equipment. Fenyx’s appearance, gear, abilities, health, and stamina can also be upgraded.
