Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society is a dark fantasy dungeon-crawling role-playing game for Nintendo Switch. Released on February 14, 2023, it was developed and published by NIS America and is available in English across Europe and the USA.

The story follows Witch Dronya and her apprentice Eureka as they reach Galleria, where an ancient mansion conceals a vast, shifting labyrinth. Because its curse prevents humans from entering, Dronya uses the sentient book Necrolum to send puppet soldiers known as Youkai into its depths.

A mysterious underground expedition

As the Necrolum, players guide the puppet army in search of treasures, powerful artifacts, and answers surrounding the Moon Society. The journey gradually explores the labyrinth's secrets alongside the motives of Dronya herself, with a narrative centered on dark fantasy, personal conflict, and unexpected revelations.

Puppet forces and Convoys

Party building is central to the adventure. Puppet soldiers can be crafted and customized with different statistics and abilities, then organized into as many as five Convoys. This structure creates room for varied tactical formations while characters and Convoys develop over time.

Turn-based labyrinth strategy

Exploration takes place in multi-layered labyrinths containing traps, environmental puzzles, hidden routes, and dangerous enemies. Battles are turn-based, rewarding careful use of specialized skills, positioning, equipment, stamina, and elemental weaknesses. The Miracle system can unleash powerful attacks by sacrificing puppet parts, making it a risky option for difficult encounters. Equipment and armor can also be discovered, fused, and improved to strengthen the expedition.
