04 About LEGO Bricktales

LEGO Bricktales is an adventure, puzzle, and simulation game developed and published by Thunderful. Released for Nintendo Switch on October 12, 2022, it follows a young builder and a robot companion named Buddy as they work to help save an inventor grandfather’s amusement park.

The journey spans five LEGO-built settings, where meeting minifigure characters and solving their problems helps collect joy crystals for the park. Exploration, environmental puzzles, and hands-on construction are central to the experience.

Build solutions brick by brick

Challenges move players into dedicated building spaces with a limited selection of virtual LEGO pieces. Creations must do more than look convincing: bridges need to support weight, cranes must lift objects, and gyrocopters need to function. Physics and structural stability shape each construction task.

Explore detailed dioramas

The adventure visits a range of brick-built biomes, including jungles, deserts, cities, and medieval castles. These dioramas contain characters to assist, environmental obstacles to overcome, and hidden collectibles to discover.

Creative options and collectibles

Players can construct practical objects such as vehicles, bridges, cranes, and statues while approaching puzzles in different ways. Hidden bricks and other collectibles can unlock additional building elements, while new minifigure parts and outfits allow customization of the protagonist.
